Event Description:

Art Revealing the Gunfire Epidemic is a gallery installation of over 15,000 origami Soul Boxes. Each 3- by 3-inch Soul Box carries the name of a gunfire victim, an image or a message of protest or hope.

The Soul Box Project is a nonpolitical, grassroots art project to represent ALL gunfire victims of violence, defense, accidents and suicide. The exhibition also includes fabric panels from Vision Quilt. Admission is free. Multnomah Arts Center Gallery. April 5 - 30, 2019. Weekdays 9 am - 9:30 pm. Weekends 9 am - 5 pm. Anybody can make a Soul Box and send it in to be part of the displays. Learn how at www.soulboxproject.org.
