Ozzy Osbourne has announced that he will be taking his No More Tours 2 to Europe in the new year. He and longtime collaborators Zakk Wylde (Guitar), Blasko (Bass), Tommy Clufetos (Drums) and Adam Wakeman (Keyboards) will be launching the tour on January 30, 2019 in Dublin, Ireland. Produced by Live Nation, the 16-city tour has shows scheduled throughout the UK, including a night at London’s O2 Arena.  It will then continue through Germany, Sweden, Switzerland and Italy before concluding in Barcelona on 3rd March.

Ozzy has also announced that he will be joined by special guests Judas Priest for select dates on the tour.

I’ve been extremely blessed to have had two successful music careers,” the music legend explains. “I’m looking at this final tour as being a huge celebration for my fans and anyone who has enjoyed my music over the past five decades.”

On his upcoming world tour, Ozzy will celebrate more than five decades as a performer (both as a solo artist and as lead singer of Black Sabbath which toured through Europe in 2017 on their farewell tour). No More Tours 2 is expected to span the globe with dates into 2020, and it will mark the end of global touring for the legendary artist,

Though No More Tours 2 is being billed as his farewell tour, the 69-year-old Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee insists that he is not calling it quits completely. “I’m not retiring,” he said in a recent Q&A. “I’m just not doing world tours anymore. I’m still going to do shows, just no more world tours.“

After he wraps up this tour, Ozzy has mused that the may consider making a new album. He told the Boston Herald that he has “a bunch of songs written and have plenty of ideas and really want to do a new album, but as to when and how it will come together, I do not really know.” He also plans to play sporadic one-off shows but will not stay on the road for months at a time.

“It’s what I do,” Ozzy has said. “It’s my job. And when I say, ‘It’s my job,’ I mean it’s a passion for me. It’s the greatest love affair I ever had, being in a rock band and playing for the people who come to the shows.”
