July 10 - Aug. 28 (Tuesdays 12 to 1 p.m.) Noon Tunes Summer Concert Series in Pioneer Courthouse Square. Free.

July 10 - Aug. 28: Family-friendly Tunes outside Chehalem Cultural Center in Newberg.  Each Tuesday there’s a different band, plus food and wine vendors. Free.

July 11 - Aug. 29 (Wednesdays 5 to 7 p.m.) Music on Main next to Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall.  Local musicians play jazz, country, salsa, and R&B. Free.

July 9 - Sept. 7: Movies in the Park feature live performances by local musicians, free popcorn, and movies at dusk. Dogs on leash, no smoking. Free.

July 12 – 14: Harefest for age 21+ in Canby. Hear 17 tribute bands play songs by Tom Petty, Van Halen, AC/DC, Bon Jovi, Heart, Led Zeppelin, etc. Camping available.

July 12 - Aug. 9 (Thursdays 7 p.m.): River Rhythms at Monteith Riverpark in Albany. Hear a different artist every week, with food vendors, children’s crafts, and a beer garden. No pets. Free.

July 13 – 15: Portland Rose Cup Races at Portland International Raceway. Watch sports-cars race on a two-mile course.  Friday features practice and qualifying races, with final races Sunday afternoon.

July 13 – 15: ArtSplash is an art show and sale with live music and kids’ art activities (Sat.) at Tualatin Commons. Free.

July 13-15: Oregon Country Fair in Veneta.  In the woods and meadows west of Eugene with sweet music, magicians, jesters, hippies, art, and food and craft vendors No pets.

July 13 – 15:  America’s Largest Antique & Collectible Show, this event has 1400 vendors selling furniture, movie memorabilia, glassware, estate jewelry, paintings, and toys at Portland Expo Center.

July 14, 2018 (12 to 6 p.m.): Bastille Day Festival at Jamison Square Park.  French food, wine, music, street performers, a costume contest, a waiters’ race, and a marketplace. Free.

July 14: The Big Float in the Willamette River.  Wear a lifejacket and an inner tube and float downstream to a beach party with a music barge, food carts, and beer garden.

July 14: Mississippi Street Fair offers 200 local vendors and craft booths, five stages of entertainment, a kids’ corner, food carts, and a beer/wine garden on N. Mississippi Avenue (from Fremont to Skidmore). Free.

July 14 (3 p.m.): A ticket to Picklefest includes live music, your first beer, and Portland Pickles vs. Kelowna Falcons at Walker Stadium in Lents Park.

July 14: The First City Celebration in Oregon City.  Has an art fair, food carts, vendors, live music, and a kids’ zone.

July 14 – 15: Oregon Lavender Farm Tour, at many different fields around the state.  Enjoy the beauty and aroma of lavender fields.

July 15 (8 p.m.) The Portland Thorns (women’s soccer) play the Houston Dash in a  home game at Providence Park.

July 15: Forest Grove Concours d’Elegance has more than 300 antique, classic, sport, race, and collector cars to browse plus live music, beer, wine, and fine food on the Pacific University campus.
