Summer is here and there's a lot of things to do in and around town.

June 19, 2018


June 21 (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.): International Day of Yoga has classes, demonstrations, vendor booths, and live music at Pioneer Courthouse Square. A “pause for peace” is held from 12:15 to 12:20 p.m. Free.

June 22 – 23: Gorge Blues and Brews Festival features locally made beer and wine, live music in Stevenson, WA for age 21+. Friday evening is free.

June 22 – 24: Portland International Beerfest at North Park Blocks.  Enjoy 200 world-class beers, music and more.

June 22 – 24: Good in the Hood Festival has live entertainment, multi-cultural food, kids’ activities, and a beer and wine garden at King School Park. A parade is Saturday at 11 a.m. Free.

June 22 – 24: Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts is a juried craft fair with 110 booths, a music stage, food court, and wine & beer pavilion in Lake Oswego. Donation. Parking.

June 22 – 24: The Tigard Festival of Balloons at Cook Park.  Balloon launches at 5:45 a.m., glowing balloons Fri. & Sat. at dusk, a craft show, carnival, vendors, food, soccer tournament, beer garden, and a Sunday car show.

June 23: World Naked Bike Ride to promote bicycling, safe streets, and body positivity, gathering at 8 p.m. for a 9 p.m. ride.  Starting location is at Cathedral Park.  

June 23: Taste of Parkrose has running events, arts & crafts, live music, a kids’ area, food vendors, BBQ samples, and a beer garden at Rossi Farms. Free.

June 23: Petal Pedal is a scenic bicycle ride of 30 to 100 miles from Silverton with meals and full support.

June 23 – 24: Clackamas County Lavender Festival at Oregon Lavender Farm in Oregon City.  Vendors, live music, lavender ice cream & lemonade, and U-pick lavender.

June 23 – 24: Lincoln City Summer Kite Festival includes a kite-making workshop, kids’ parade, and professional shows at the beach. Free.

June 24 (3 to 5 p.m.): Singin’ in the Square at Pioneer Courthouse Square. Go lend your voice to the sing along.  Free.

June 24: North Portland Sunday Parkways. Walk, bike or roller-skate on 9.5 miles of streets when most cars are banned. Nearby parks offer activities & music. Free.

June 24: Portland Rose Festival Milk Carton Boat Race in Westmoreland Park. Free.
