In case you haven't heard us talking about "In Concert for Cancer: CTA Performs the Music of Chicago" at Revolution Hall on October 21st, here's more about it.  Straight from Bill Champlin to us.  It's going to be an incredible show with founding member of Chicago, Danny Seraphine, and three decade member, Bill Champlin with a great band including horns.  Of course.  Brass kicks ass.  I'll be there to bring the band on stage, and the cool thing about the whole event is that it was thought up by some amazing people who want to make a difference in the world.  So the net proceeds will go to the Children's Cancer Association to help kids and their families who are dealing with the disease.

Now, I've been a Sons of Champlin fan for decades and I'm a complete nutball when it comes to all things Bill Champlin.  So, we kept the conversation as short as possible, which my friends, is a huge feat.  But Bill talks about the band, and why he is personally involved in doing something for the cause of stopping cancer.  I too am a cancer survivor for almost 12 years now, and I've lost family and friends as I'm sure you have as well.

So, as my Mom used to say "Make hay while the sun shines" so let's go enjoy this incredible show at the wonderful Revolution Hall on October 21st.

See you there!  ~Iris
