Son of Elton John's Publisher: "He's Basically a Coward."

The Elton John biopic Rocketman seems to have uncovered bad feelings between the artist and his former music publisher Dick James.

"He's basically a coward," the late music publisher's son, Stephen James, told Express after the movie opened Friday, depicting his father as hard-nosed and under handed. James blames John for the mischaracterize, attacking his character in the article:

"He's never been able to really express his emotions properly, certainly not to me. I don't understand why he seems to feel the need to try to destroy everybody who helped him. We only ever tried to do the best for him and to promote his career. I really am very upset that he has turned on people in this way."
